Colorado's B-Side
The 2022 Roads United Rendezvous
The Event
The Rendezvous is a purposefully small event, limited to a dozen cars and focused on friendship and camaraderie. It's a group road adventure, not a guided tour. That said, we're thrilled with the quality of the roads and the unique and beautiful accommodations that we have put together for this year's participants.
Registration closes Friday June 17th.
If you want to join us, this is your chance. Get your deposit in using the link above.
If your plans do change, please let us know as soon as possible and we'll be happy to give you a full refund (less card processing fees) as long as you let us know at least 30 days prior to the event (aka before Friday July 1st). After that, we will still be able to provide a refund if someone on our waiting list can take your spot.
Please contact us at info@roadsunited.com with any questions prior to registration. We'll start by having your cars delivered, prepped and ready for your arrival at the Devil's Thumb Ranch in Tabernash on Wednesday evening. Just fly into Denver International Airport and hop on one of our pre-arranged shuttles and meet us in time for a 7pm kickoff celebration.
Want to just meet us there, and skip the shipping? No problem. The goal, as always is to make an epic driving adventure as stress-free as possible.
The Itinerary
The Devil's Thumb Ranch
Wednesday evening, we'll gather at the Devil's Thumb Ranch. A low-key yet spectacular destination covering over 6,500 acres north of Winter Park. We'll kick off in a celebratory fashion in a intimate venue winning many awards including a 2021 award of excellence from Wine Spectator. There's a lot to like about Devil's Thumb so this is where we will start and end our journey.
Flat Tops and the Grand Mesa
The Colorado Rockies are made of many different Mountain Ranges. On our first day we'll set out across the Flat Tops, an area with mind-blowing vistas and long descending sweepers to stretch your car's legs and get used to the altitude. We'll wind our way down across Colorado's Grand Mesa and down into the Grand Valley to enjoy an evening among a number of great up and coming wineries.
Gateway Canyon and the Western Slope
Our second day will celebrate the incredible diversity of landscapes in Colorado. We'll sweep out across the Colorado Plateau, dive down through some of the most spectacular canyons in the west. That afternoon we'll climb back up to Telluride to enjoy a stay in a beautiful set of mountain cabins at the top of the Gondola.
The best of the San Juans
Saturday, we have a choose-your-own adventure day. Those that want a small rest from all the driving excitement can hang back to check out the history and shops of Telluride or visit a local hot spring.
Those that want to stay on the road can experience the magic of the winding San Juan Skyway and the Million Dollar Highway on a loop around some of the most memorable and technical mountain drives in North America. We'll all meet back at our cabins and ride the gondola down for a night of fun in Telluride.
Back to the Ranch
On Sunday, we'll get an early start to head over the McClure Pass and wind up along some spectacular river roads to Carbondale. This route will reveal a whole different side of the state and will bring us back to the Devils Thumb Ranch where a celebratory evening awaits in one of the best culinary destinations in the state.
We'll spend the night at Devil's Thumb and for those transporting their car, shuttles to the airport will be available first thing on Monday morning.
