Less than 100 miles from Chicago, Starved rock is a fantastic getaway with with great drives, quaint towns, rustic lodges, cute B&Bs and spectacular scenery. For those from the area it is an ideal day trip. For those passing through it is an excellent stop over on any roadtrip.
